It's a dark and rainy night. A cool wind blows, causing the trees to rustle gently. Everything seems very quiet, almost eerie. There is a knock on your door. Who could that be? Who would be out at this time? The knocks repeat. Rhythmic. Repetitive. Thump...thump...thump.
You peek through the curtains to see who is knocking. There are two figures on the porch. It is hard to get a clear view of them in the rain. You open the door. Two kids are standing there. They appear to be around twelve years old. You have never seen them before. They seem strange. Out of place. They want to come in. They want you to invite them into your house. You begin to feel odd talking to them. A little light headed, a little nauseous. Their speech is slightly off. Unnatural. Everything about them seems to be wrong. They stare at the ground as they speak.
Their skin is pale. They are wearing plain looking clothes. Jeans and hoodies. The clothes don't quite fit correctly. Their hoods are pulled up on their heads to protect them from the rain. Monotone voices ask you again to invite them in.You ask what they want, who they are. Slowly, they raise their heads to look at you. As you glimpse their faces you begin to feel panic as you realize that their eyes are black. Completely black. No whites of the eyes. No anything except black. And soulless.
You abruptly close and lock the door. You are sweating now. Breathing unevenly. They begin to knock again. Rhythmic. Repetitive. Thump...thump...thump.
Suddenly the knocking stops. You carefully peer through the curtains. There is no one there. You pull the curtains back all the way and look. Nothing. They are gone.
This is a typical encounter that people report. A typical encounter with extremely spooky entities known as Black Eyed Children. These encounters have been happening more and more in recent years. This phenomenon is one of the creepiest, scariest things that I have ever heard.
But what are these B.E.C.? There are many theories. Some think they are vampires because they seem to need to be invited into your home or your car. Like they are unable to enter without an invitation. Maybe they are demonic entities. Maybe they are related to one of my favorite subjects, the Men in Black. There are many similarities with MIB encounters. They usually are in groups of two or three, they act out of place, have a slightly off look and vibe, and seem to appear and disappear at will. Some believe the Black Eyed Children to be aliens, or alien hybrids. Maybe a cross between humans and alien grays. They may be Tulpas. Thought forms created by our own minds. Ghosts. Djinn. Maybe they don't exist at all. Urban Legends. I do not know what they are, or if they indeed do exist. I have never encountered the Children, and don't wanna, but I do find them to be a fascinating entry into the world of creepiness.
If nothing else, they make for great stories to be told around a campfire. Do some research on this subject. It's crazy.
If you want to read a multitude of accounts of stories like these I highly recommend a book written by David Weatherly titled simply, "The Black Eyed Children." This is a great book. A quick read with tons of super interesting information. One of my favorite books I have read in the past year.
Stay creepy my friends.
What about the black eyed adults?

BLACK EYED KIDS
There are more and more accounts of Black Eyed Kids surfacing, but along with them are accounts with Black Eyed Adults. This seems to be a similar phenomenon as can be seen in this report from Lucas, Texas. This story comes off the web, so I can’t verify the authenticity, but it does sound decidedly like a typical encounter with a black eyed entity.
The early July sun beat on 19-year-old Dallas Adams as he pumped gas into his car at a convenience store in Lucas, Texas.
A man and his son stood at the pump opposite Adams, a woman at her car was behind him. When the gas nozzle clicked Adams placed it back onto the pump and went inside the store. Things were different when he came out.“There was no line in the gas station,” Adams said. “I bought cigarettes and walked out but when I came out my car was the only one there. I had only been in the gas station for maybe two and a half minutes. As soon as I noticed everyone was gone I felt scared but couldn’t figure out why.”
Then he saw the man standing by his car. As Adams walked by him, he noticed a smell, like the man hadn’t showered in weeks.
“He looked like an average guy but when I looked at him I felt scared like my life was about to end,” Adams said. “I went to my car and looked at him – he was staring at me.”
The man came closer to Adams as he stood at the driver’s side door, walking in long steps.
“I need a ride,” the man said, the force in his voice striking Adams like something physical.
“It scared me to death,” Adams said. “I said, ‘what?’ And he said, ‘give me a ride.”
Then Adams saw what frightened him.
“His eyes were completely black. No whites, no nothing, just black,” Adams said. “When I was talking to this thing I could smell its breath, which was horrible.”
Adams worked up the courage to ask where the Black-Eyed Man wanted to go. The man simply replied, “just give me a ride.”
“I said, ‘I’m sorry, I can’t,’ then he took a few steps toward me,” Adams said. “His walk was kinda odd, but stopped as this conversation was happening.”
But what terrified Adams was the man’s eyes.
“I couldn’t take my eyes off of his,” Adams said. “It was like they were sucking me in.”
As Adams stood, watching the strange man with the black eyes approach him, something broke whatever held Adams’ gaze. Adams hopped into his car and sped away.
What did Adams’ see?
“This is really troubling me cause I’ve had dreams about this man every night since the day it happened,” Adams said. “
Black-Eyed People have been in the popular culture since two approached journalist Brian Bethel as he sat in his car in 1998. The encounters are usually the same. Black-Eyed People are usually children to young adults who use language and assertiveness that would seem to be beyond their means. But the most common thread is their eyes; black, without iris or whites, and dead like a Hollywood vampire’s.
And by the way, if the Black Eyed Children come knocking on your door, DO NOT LET THEM IN!
